A personal note from Co–Founder Jane Lorand:
Welcome. I wish I could review this with you in a personal conversation. Although you are flying solo now, you'll soon find yourself in formation, sharing ideas and experiences with other solo pilots from around the world. Each of us is in charge of our learning paths, yet through safe expression and conversation, we experience a deepening of life and connections to help us make sense of how the world operates.
We encourage all participants to watch the presentations at least twice – review is a powerful tool to strengthen our thinking, especially if we have a chance to sleep on it.
Labs have provided me with a unique and powerful set of tools that I use daily. The insights I've gained apply to the broad scope of my work, whether I'm advising an emerging business leader or working with a Fortune 50 company.

I'm Flying Solo Frequently Asked Questions
What is Catalytic Thinking Labs Pricing Philosophy?
We're charging enough to cover our costs and to enable those who cannot pay to participate. For us, it is not about the money, but we believe an exchange does need to be recognized. If you can't afford the price of an Arena, Certificate, or Lab, contact us and we'll get you enrolled. Learn more on our Pricing page.
Will I be tested? What about Certificates?
We're big advocates of self-assessment and personal accountability. There are no tests in any Catalytic Thinking Lab. At the end of each Certificate there is a simple self-assessment.
Can I work with a partner?
Yes. We invite you to self-organize with others. Think about who, in your network or family, might also be interested in designing a life of meaning through developing thinking practices.
Do I need any special materials, software, or computer programs to take the Labs?
Most Labs require a simple set of materials: large sheets of paper, colored pencils/pens/pastels, sticky notes, and/or heavy markers. Lab materials are indicated on every Lab page and Certificate syllabus. Every Lab has a WindTunneling project, which you can access for free.
