This technique was developed by Bruce McKenzie (Australia). WindTunneling was originally designed to test strategies against a variety of plausible future events, enabling the group to modify strategies to be more resilient. For example, WindTunneling enabled a major bank to identify a massive collapse before it happened, and enabled a major company to build redundancies that enabled them to survive a “Black Swan” event.
