The next step in systemic exploration developed by Bruce McKenzie from Australia is called Strategic Staircasing. When all of the ideas from the group have been posted, small groups begin to back-cast and identify pre-requisites to accomplishing big goals. Multiple staircases can be identified and contribute to strategic planning.
