We are always making assumptions. As we try to decide if an opportunity is one we want to pursue, we benefit by identifying the significant assumptions. Then we need to determine how certain we are that each is true. The gaps reveal our research path and we can identify the indispensable information we’ll need. This is a disciplined practice that is best done in teams.
